Trauma Recovery
Trauma can leave emotional and physical scars. Somatic therapy works by helping you become aware of your body’s sensations and reactions, allowing you to process and release the stress or pain that’s been stored in your body. Techniques like deep breathing, body awareness, and gentle movement allow you to release the emotional weight of trauma without having to relive the painful experience through words alone.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Many people struggle with managing strong emotions, like anger, sadness, or fear, especially after trauma. Somatic therapy helps you notice how these emotions feel in your body and gives you simple ways to manage them, such as breathing exercises or gentle movements. This helps you stay grounded and in control when emotions come up, improving your overall emotional well-being.

Anxiety, Stress, Burnout
Somatic therapy helps relieve anxiety and stress by focusing on the body's physical responses. For anxiety, breathwork and grounding exercises calm the mind and reduce tension. For stress, techniques like muscle relaxation and body scanning release built-up tension, helping you feel more balanced and in control. These methods provide practical tools for managing both mental and physical stress.

Emotional Regulation
For people with PTSD, their body might still react as if they are in danger, even though the traumatic event is long over. Somatic therapy focuses on the nervous system, helping you learn how to calm your body’s reaction and restore a sense of safety. Over time, this can reduce flashbacks, jumpiness, and the feeling of being on high alert all the time.

My name is Aimee Clark and after nearly 30 years of traditional talk therapy, I was still trapped in my trauma. It wasn’t until I discovered somatic therapy, breathwork and energy healing, that I reopened my spiritual connection and embraced these daily that my healing truly began.
​
My journey started with a childhood scarred by sexual abuse, neglect, and an absent mother. Despite years of therapy and medication, nothing shifted the deep pain, shame, and fear that affected my life. Diagnosed with acute PTSD and severe depression, I struggled for years—until I found the power of Somatic Therapy, Breathwork, and Energy Healing.
These practices helped me transform my darkest trauma imprints and heal destructive patterns of behaviour that I thought, was just who I was always going to be. ​

As a certified Embodied Processing (EP) practitioner, I now guide others on their path to healing. In my sessions, I combine evidence-based somatic therapy techniques, breathwork, energy healing and my intuitive gifts to help you reconnect with your mind, body, and spirit. You’ll learn how to listen to your body, release trauma, and uncover the wisdom within.

I offer a safe space for those seeking relief from the emotional toll that can keep us trapped in negative spirals. Through my own healing journey, I know that while I can’t heal you, I can teach you to heal yourself.
